Produced by the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, Getty Unshuttered is a positive community for teen photographers like you to share your unique view of the world, grow your skills, and build your portfolio. It’s free to use, ad-free, and full of photo challenges and tips to help you grow as an artist.

WHAT ARE YOU IN PURSUIT OF?
Artists are powerful. Collectively, a force to be reckoned with. That’s why Getty Unshuttered is asking what you are In Pursuit of _____? What drives you? What are you fighting for? Show us! We want to celebrate your images online and at the Getty Museum.

Post your In Pursuit of _____ images in the Getty Unshuttered app or tag us @gettyunshuttered or #unshuttered on Instagram. This fall, we’ll be selecting images to showcase at the Getty Museum in 2021.

Getty Unshuttered is a free photo sharing app from the Getty Museum. It’s built to be a positive community for teen artists to raise their voices for social good. To inspire each other. To grow as artists.

What are you passionate about? What do you want to change? Snap it. Share it. Energize others to act. That’s a virtuous cycle, right?

THE WORLD NEEDS ARTISTS
Artists are activists. Artists are powerful. A force to be reckoned with. It’s a simple equation: more art, better world. That’s way we built Getty Unshuttered: because we believe everyone is an artist and we wanted a place where they could gather, share, and learn.
